February Half Term Activities 2012
As requested, this forthcoming half term we have some amazing activites for you to take part in. Starting with Go Karting on 13th February at Team Sport Karting Centre, come and see how fast you are and if you can get the best lap time!
The 14th, 15th and 16th of February will see sporting activities galore taking place at the school. Table Tennis, Dance, Basketball and Multisports will take place during the mornings and afternoons.
Finally after a fun packed week, its time to chill out with Paintballing!
If you are interested in taking part in any of these activities then please see Lisa or Chris in the E3 office.
Half Term Activities
OAKWOODLY ADDICTED!
We have a trip to Oakwood Theme park during the Easter holiday half term. if you would like a consent form, please come down to the E3 office.
CALLING ALL CHOCAHOLICS!
We have a trip to Cadbury World during half term. On February 24th we will depart Ferndale and take the 2 and a half hour trip to the Cadbury Factory in Birmingham. If you would like to join us please come to the E3 office for a consent for.
TABLE TENNIS CAMP
There will be a three day camp between 22nd and 24th February, 11am - 2pm at the School Barn. If you would like more information speak to Scott (Table Tennis Tutor).
Christmas Holiday Activities
We have planned two great trips during the final week of term.
Our first is to The New Theatre in Cardiff to see Brian Conley in Cinderella! Join us on the 14th December as we take a trip to see this amazing pantomime.
Our second and final trip will be to Cardiff's Winter Wonderland. Come and join us as we take a trip first to McDonalds and then to the ice rink on the 17th December.
As always consent forms are available from the E3 office.
Congratulations UNFACED!
Ferndales very own dance group, UNFACED! (Lauren Slye, Shannon Britton, Laura Semmens and Shauna Pritchard) have gotten through to the V Factor Finals! I hope that you are able to join us to support the talent that we have in Ferndale Community School at the V Factor final on Tuesday May 25th at the Park and Dare Theatre, Treorchy. 7pm.
Jukebox Juniors - finalists of Sky 1's 'Got to Dance' - and Lloyd Daniels - 'X Factor' finalist - will also be perforing at the final. Tickets are £5 Adults and £3.50 concessions and can be booked by contacting the e3 office.
Whitsun Holiday Trip
How about a bit of Animal Madness this half term?
On Wednesday 02nd June, E3 will be taking a trip to Longleat Safari Park (As seen on BBC One’s Animal Park)
If you want to come along with us please come to the E3 office for a consent form. Consents need to be returned by Firday 28th May so be quick as it's first come first serve!
Christmas Trips
We have organised a couple of E3 trips this Christmas. The first on the 14th December will be Ice Skating in the Winter Wonderland in Cardiff, the second will be to see Robin Hood at the New Theatre on the 17th December. Keep a listen out over the tannoy for an announcement about when consent forms will be available from the E3 office.
